ANAABU™ CNY 2026: ISI-ISI

Apa yang menjadikan kita, kita?
Yang menceritakan kita, dan mensejarahkan kita?

We are each a lived-in identity.
And the best flavours take their time.

慢慢来 也可以
Perlahan-lahan, tak mengapa.

慢慢来,花开有期,果熟有时
Biar sikit-sikit, nanti lama-lama jadi bukit.

顺顺利利
Semoga semuanya lancar-lancar saja.

Like a tea leaf, on its own;
curled tightly within itself, bursts into clarity when it meets water.

Like a strip of wisdom waiting to be cracked open,
you’ll surprise yourself with what you’re gonna find.

Like making a dumpling.
Slowly, but surely. Often, the best things in life cannot be rushed.

The food of thoughts will come when you trust the process.
May the 'isi-isi' of you find its essence exactly how they are meant to be this festive season.

You are cordially invited to ISI-ISI, our sartorial feast in a form of festive collection that will cover two of the most anticipated festivities in 2026. This year, we are rediscovering the flavour of our identity, through the most sensory expressions of our culture that is food, transcended into clothing.

ISI-ISI collection is an ode to the Malaysian delicacies that define their shared heritage. We have meticulously sourced fabrics and colours, and designed embroideries that mirror the textures of our favourite Malaysian cuisine and delicacies such as Chinese Tea, Fortune Cookies, Mooncake, Dumpling, Tart & Pulut.

To add a playful experimentation, a number of pieces from this collection introduce food-inspired elements such as the embroideries, beads, and scallop hem, as our own pops of fun that mimic the finishing touches of a food presentation.

The Chinese Tea set is our most versatile ensemble yet. The Chinese Tea Top is a long, Kebaya-inspired silhouette top paired with its flowy Chinese Tea skirt. For those who love to layer, the set includes an optional Chinese Tea Vest for added dimension and for a complete Chinese Tea look, we’re introducing our limited pieces of Chinese Tea Bag, a sling bag in velvety cinnamon suede that can also transform into a clutch bag.

While staying true to comfort and practicality, we also aspire to design festive pieces that can become conversation starters such as the Fortune Cookie set. The Fortune Cookie Top features a kimono-inspired top with two-way openings that resemble the fold of a Fortune Cookie and comes with sheer oriental floral embroidery adorning the sleeves. The top can be paired with its matching voluminous bubble skirt, the Fortune Cookie Skirt—available in a vibrant yellow plaid or a grounded solid black.

Our previous year’s best-selling Tang Suit received a contemporary overhaul, hence returning as The Pulut Tang Suit this year. Crafted in a breathable linen blend, the Pulut Tang Suit offers a loose, relaxed fit available in deep, appetising tones of Pulut Tai Tai, Bee Koh, and Pulut Hitam.

While traditionally known for a Mid-autumn signature, we looked to the Mooncake for its delicate motifs to create a festive ensemble that can transcend the season. The Mooncake set features a Mandarin-collared top and a sleek pencil skirt. The pieces are defined by intricate mooncake-inspired embroidery and delicate scalloped hems that mimic the artistry of the pastry itself. It is a refined, textured look for the woman who appreciates a fitting look.

The Dumpling Bubble Top draws inspiration from the classic Qi Pao. This bubble-like silhouette top is to be paired with its matching Skants; both pieces come with beads and tie finishing to give a sculptural grace.

Another set for Men, we’re returning the best-selling Buttoned Shirt and Wide Pants with a fresh perspective; The Tart Top and Wide Pants. Drawing inspiration from the ridged texture of the Kuih Tart, Tart Top comes with padded round collar and knot button, while Tart Wide Pants this time features drawstring hems to allow personalised styling—whether you prefer a structured column to a cuffed, utilitarian look.
